Jackson Hole has been a winter destination for decades … more like centuries. In that time, it has earned a justly deserved reputation for amazing sports such as skiing, outdoor activities like snowmobiling and snowshoeing, and gorgeous scenery galore.

With so much going on, Jackson Hole can sometimes feel a little too exciting when planning your trip. Which is why we’re here with five winter activities you absolutely have to do in Jackson Hole. Everything else is just gravy.

Ready to learn more? Read on!

1. Go Skiing!

Everyone will tell you that if there’s one thing you must do in Jackson Hole this winter, it’s ski. The clear, frosty weather and significant snowfall each year make for amazing slopes. Plus, you have tons of choices to choose from.

2. Visit the Parks

Yellowstone National Park, notable for being the very first in the entire world, should be on any American’s bucket list – and any international tourist’s as well. Add Grand Teton into the mix, and you have a perfect Old West experience, complete with bison, eagles, wolves and more

3. Go Snowmobiling

Snowmobiling is a glorious thrill, there’s no denying that. Get ready to whip up and down slopes in the backcountry, taking in the sights along the way. If you want a true back-to-nature experience, you might even consider dog sledding instead.
