Multi-Day Snowmobile Trips in Wyoming
Join Scenic Safaris for a custom overnight snowmobile trips in the back country near Yellowstone National Park and Bridger National Forest! The snowmobiling is customized to each group’s interest & ability level. Tours vary by duration and location, see details for each package below.

What to Expect:
Your guide will pick you up between 6:00am and 7:00am at your lodging and bring you back to our location where you’ll be outfitted with snowmobile gear- boots, one-piece suit, and helmet. Breakfast will be a grab and go style on the way to Yellowstone. We will also pick up sandwiches for lunch. Please be sure to let us know if you have any dietary restrictions ahead of time. After a full day of tour the night will find us in West Yellowstone. With day two leaving us another full day to visit the rest of Yellowstone. You will cover an average of about 170 miles in two days. We will have you back to your lodging in Jackson between 5:00pm-6:00pm.

- Departure Times: 6:00-7:00AM – Exact time will be confirmed the night before.
- Meals: All meals included from the first day (breakfast) to the last day we drop you off (lunch).

- Snowmobile Type: 2016 or ’17 Ski Doo 4-Stroke Machines (2 seats)
- Gear that’s included: Snowmobile suit, boots, and a helmet.
- Age Restrictions: Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and passengers must be 8 years or older, although we recommend being at least 10 years or older.

Also your guide will call you the night before your trip to answer any questions you might have! Damage waivers available for Trail Sled & Powder Sleds:
- Trail Sleds – A $750 deductible damage waiver is available for $25 per machine per day (optional).
- Powder Sleds – A $1,500 deductible damage waiver is available for $25 per machine per day (optional).

Day 1 –
- You will get picked up from your hotel in Jackson and brought back to our location to get you fitted for
gear. On the way out of town we will stop and pick up a to-go breakfast and sandwiches for lunch from a local Deli. - Our journey takes us to West Thumb Geyser Basin, where sightings of eagles, bison, wolves and coyotes are possible. Some stops along the way may include: areas such as Lewis Falls, Black Sands Geyser Basin, Biscuit Basin, Fountain Paint Pots, and Midway Geyser Basin.
- The night finds us in West Yellowstone, where you’ll enjoy a hearty dinner with your guide.
- You will cover about 70 miles and be on your snowmobile for about 6 to 7 hours.
Day 2 –
- Before leaving West Yellowstone, we will stop by the Wolf Discovery Center. Then our journey takes us North visiting some of the 10,000 thermal features of the Park, including areas such as Madison River Valley, Firehole Drive, Gibbon Falls, Sheep Eaters Cliff, and Golden Gate.
- The night finds us in Gardiner, MT, outside the North entrance of the Park, where there will be more opportunities to spot wildlife.
- You will cover about 50 miles and be on your snowmobile for about 5 hours.
Day 3 –
- We ride through Hayden Valley, a common winter range for bison and wolves. The highlight of the day
is the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone; here the scenery (including Yellowstone Falls) is absolutely
stunning. We will also see Mud Volcano and Fishing Bridge. - We end our journey back at the South Entrance and continue back to Jackson.
- You will cover about 95 miles and be on your snowmobile for about 7 to 9 hours.

Your duffle bag should be no bigger than 11″ H X 28″ W X 11″ D – your duffle bag will be attached to the back of your snowmobile.

You’ll need to arrive in Jackson at least one day prior to the start of your snowmobile trip, and plan to leave no sooner than the day after you return from your snowmobile trip.

30% deposit is due upon reservations. If cancellation happens more that 60 days prior to arrival, the deposit and is fully refundable. The balance is due 45 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable. Our cancellation policy also applies to any changes on a reservation. Please note we do not make any exceptions regarding our cancellation policy; please take precautions such as trip insurance in case of any emergencies, last minute changes, flight issues, etc.
