What Makes Us an Environmentally Friendly Tour Operator

a bench next to a body of water

We know how important the environment is to you. Especially when, you know, that company gives tours out in the environment, like we do here at Scenic Safaris. That’s why we’re here today with a little get to know you post vis-à-vis the ecosystem … and specifically, what we do to help it.

Ready? Grab that bottle of sustainably brewed kombucha, have a seat and let’s get started.

1. Recycling

While it seems obvious to say “you should recycle,” a surprising number of companies still don’t emphasize this duty. However, we put this at the very top of our priority list by:

  • Using real silverware and plates for all our meals
  • Using compostable napkins and cups
  • Printing our business cards and brochures on recycled paper

… and more. If we can cut waste, we will!

2. Green Cleaning Products

We all love that fresh-and-clean smell, but what we always ask ourselves about any cleaning product is whether it leaves our waterways clean as well as our countertops and floors. If the answer is yes, we’re happy. That’s why we use products from The Clean Environment Co., which also provides products to national parks across the country.

3. Environmentally Friendly Vehicles

Ask any expert, and they’ll tell you that planes, trains, and automobiles are one of the largest contributors to global warming. We aim to reverse the trend (or at least lower our carbon footprint) with our fleet of low-emission, low-noise 4-stroke snowmobiles and modern, well-maintained vans.

Whether you’re looking for magical wildlife tours through Scenic Safaris or sparkling rafting trips from Mad River Boat Trips to give you that immersed-in-the-environment feel, we’re here for you. Our sustainably operated tour companies, knowledgeable guides, and Earth-conscious tours will help you make a difference … while enjoying the heck out of yourself in one of the most beautiful corners of America.
