The site of the dramatic landslide that wiped out the original town of Kelly is our starting point. Explore the vast wilderness to spot elk, deer, moose, coyote, bighorn sheep and bald eagles. Ride a groomed trail, with plenty of opportunities to take in the Teton views (weather permitting).
Your guide will pick you up between 7:30AM and 8:00AM at your lodging and bring you to our office where you’ll be outfitted with snowmobile gear- boots, one-piece suit, helmet, and gloves. The trail head is about a 45 minute drive, so you’ll be on the trail around 10am.
The Gros Ventre valley is considered critical winter range, so there is no off-trail riding. Keep your eyes out for wildlife, and don’t forget to take in the beautiful scenery. Lunch is on the trail, and you’ll return to town by 5:00pm.
Equipment needed: winter clothing, balaclava, thermals, camera.
100% cancellation fee when cancellation is given within 48 hours of trip departure. All tours subject to change due to weather and snow conditions or insufficient number of people.
