Our Favorite Yellowstone Tours

Whether it’s by foot, van, raft, or ATV, touring Yellowstone National Park is a once in a lifetime adventure. With beautiful natural features and stunning wildlife, the park typically draws over 4 million visitors a year. If you’re planning a trip to Yellowstone National Park, here are some of our favorite Yellowstone tours.

Yellowstone Lower Loop

The Lower Loop is our favorite tour for those who want to see it all. A full day van tour stops at all the major points of interest, like Old Faithful and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. There’s nothing like seeing wildlife in their natural mountain habitat.

Grand Canyon Trail

Follow the course of the mighty Yellowstone River as it cuts through granite chasms, creating the spectacular Yellowstone Falls. A full day trip is great for a beginner or advanced hiker with stunning scenic views. You may even be lucky enough to spot a bald eagle.

Dunanda Falls

If you’re looking to go off the beaten path, Dunanda Falls is one of the least touristy options. With open meadows that are prime spots for bear sightings and a natural hot spring at the falls, this 22-mile roundtrip hike is a truly immersive experience. You’ll find this trail in the remote southwest corner of Yellowstone National Park.

Backroads Tour

One of the unique ways to explore the greater Yellowstone and Jackson Hole areas is by ATV. You can rent a two-seater ATV or side-by-side UTV that seats four people. There are many off-roading options in Bridger-Teton National Forest, which features a large part the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. By forging your own path, there’s no shortage of family fun and many chances for viewing the beautiful natural scenery and wildlife.

White Water Rafting

While you can’t take a white water rafting tour within Yellowstone, rafting tours are a great option for adventure seekers looking to explore the area. A nearby tour can still provide stunning scenic views and wildlife spotting, while your guide reveals fun facts about Jackson’s beautiful parks.

If you’re planning a trip to the Jackson area, you’re in for an action-packed getaway. For more information on tours or ATV rentals, contact the adventure experts at Scenic Safaris.
